Jacqueline Smart was born in England and spent her childhood years living in Guyana before coming to the US. New York is the place she has called home for over 30 years.
Jackie has worn many hats in her life and she thanks all of the extraordinary experiences she has lived for shaping her into the individual she is today. She is a true lover of the arts. She loves reading, writing, dancing and listening to music. In high school, Jackie embarked on an exciting path, acting in mini-plays. Acting continues to be a part of her life and one of her great interests. She has appeared in numerous plays, student films, documentaries, television series and photo shoots.
Another one of Jackie’s passions is writing. She is the author and publisher of two books: The Navigator’s Travel to Guyana, and the Brooklyn Squirrel Chronicles. For her third book, which she hopes to finish this year, Jackie has spent much time researching her family’s roots, going as far back as 1721 and has already written over 300 pages on this topic which is so dear to her heart. She is an avid collector of experiences and loves to travel and see the world. She has visited numerous islands in the West Indies as well as many different parts of Europe and Asia. She has a rich bucket list of other parts of the world she plans to explore.
Jackie holds a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, a Masters Degree in English as a Second Language, and a Bachelors Degree in Business Communication. She is extremely passionate about educating our youth and offering a variety of experiences so that they may become well rounded adults. She is the leader of the My Sisters Keeper Group which allows students to participate in community service activities to help the needy in her community.
Jackie really takes her time to understand people and their needs. Her calm and friendly nature will certainly put her clients at ease through all the emotions attached to buying or selling a property. She is confident in the resources both she and Madison Estates SIR have to offer and sees these resources as a great asset, both to herself and her clients. A pleasant and seamless experience for all parties involved is what she strives for.
